100 Leicester St, Carlton This four star green star office building comprises 10 levels of large open space with 3 levels of basement carparking. Structure is post-tensioned floor slabs supported on concrete columns and perimeter precast panels with bored pier and shotcrete wall retention system. The main challenge with this building was working with the ESD consultant to achieve a passive and energy efficient building and working with the architect to achieve large spans and incorporate feature steelwork throughout the building facade. 4 large floors with 4 levels of basement carparking which required us to work closely with the builder to develop an innovative solution to allow basement construction in the basalt rock. Construction is post-tensioned floor slabs on precast concrete columns with part steel soldier and shotcrete wall retention system and part rocknails in the rock layer.

Main challenge with this project was retaining the existing substation during construction until the new substation was built in the basement. 9-13 Claremont St, South Yarra This iconic building incorporates ground floor showroom, 4 levels of offices, penthouse apartment to level 05 and 3 levels of basement carparking. Some of the challenges with this project were incorporating a stormwater easement/culvert within the basement. The multi faceted facade combines specialist precast panels infilled with frameless glass. The development has four levels of controlled access parking in the basement and two at ground level.
